Do you sometimes wonder why:

We all have preferences for recharging our batteries, gathering information, drawing conclusions, organising our lives, etc. People have been studying our preferences for centuries, coming up with different distinctions and different sub groups and names for the personality types they found. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Four Temperaments sytem are very well known ones, used by millions of people around the world.

I have been working quite a while with a purely Australian made Personality Profiling System, called Dreamtime Personalities^tm. It is a great tool to find out your own way of looking in life, to get insight into why you do things a certain way, and to learn why you experience events in a very specific, individual way. Dreamtime Personalities has the best of the Myers-Briggs and Four Temperament systems, in my opinion and is set to become a national standard in personality type profiling.

I dare to say that, once I know your preferred way of dealing with life, I can virtually predict what your response will be to specific events. I will be able to tell you what you will do in times of stress, what will be good ways for you to wind down, what your ideal career could be, in what areas you naturally excel, where you may have to improve, how you relate to people, how you communicate, etc.

Knowing your own preferences will make your life and the way you run any business so much easier, and will give you such a huge amount of insight into your own psyche, that I feel each and everyone of us should fill out the questionnaire. You will have great understanding of yourself, which also makes it easier to take yourself less serious. You will know why you behave the way you do, and will understand which parts of your personality could do with a little fine tuning to become an even more balanced human being.

It is not surprising that every self-respecting Human Resources Department in self-respecting companies have prospective employees fill out a questionnaire to find their preferences. They want to have the right person for the right job, and knowing that person's preferences will tell to a great degree whether that job fits him or her, and vice versa.

It is an immensely powerful way to "know thyself"; it will absolutely blow you away.

Also available are "relationship" and "family packages", where every partner or member of the family fills out the questionnaire. Based upon the outcome, we can set up one or more follow-up sessions to increase communication and understanding within the relationship or family, and create harmony and connection between the persons involved.
